We’re really excited to introduce Gonda Lewis, our
Women’s Health Physiotherapist at Rise NW10. Gonda is a musculoskeletal physio who has specialised in women’s health – which means she treats everything to do with the pelvis, pelvic floor, and abdominal health, particularly before, during, and after pregnancy.
Many women experience pelvic girdle pain, lower back aches, bladder issues or abdominal separation during or after pregnancy – and often feel unsure where to turn. The good news is: physiotherapy can help, and you don’t need to wait it out or manage it alone.
What Gonda treats:
Pelvic girdle pain (PGP) – pain at the back, hips or pubic bone, often during pregnancy. This can be treated with manual therapy, exercises, and supportive belts.
Bladder and bowel control – leaking or urgency before, during or after pregnancy.
Pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain – including pain with sex or tension in the pelvic floor.
Diastasis Recti (tummy gap) – helping restore core function after birth.
C-section and episiotomy scars – through hands-on work to release fascial tension and reduce discomfort.
Menopause-related pelvic health issues – including pelvic floor concerns or bladder changes.
Gonda is also a certified Mummy MOT practitioner.
What’s a Mummy MOT?
It’s a specialist postnatal check-up from 6 weeks postpartum and beyond. During this 60-minute session, Gonda will:
Assess your pelvic floor and core strength
Check for tummy separation (diastasis recti)
Address any pain or symptoms from pregnancy or birth
Guide you on safe return to exercise
Create a bespoke recovery plan tailored to your body
Whether you're newly postnatal or it’s been months (or years!) since you had your baby, it’s never too late to get the right support.
If you’d like to book in with Gonda or ask a question about how she could help, just call or send us and email.
