Do I need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You do not need a GP referral to book an appointment at Rise NW10 Physiotherapy.

  • Begin hands-on treatment where appropriate

How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?

Does physiotherapy hurt?

Physiotherapy should not be painful, although you may feel mild discomfort during some treatments or exercises.

We always work within your comfort levels and explain everything before starting treatment.

 

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. You may be asked to expose the area being treated (for example, shorts for knee pain or a vest for shoulder pain).
